Hey there! I'm Katie O'Laughlin

I am a multimedia artist and producer! I write, produce, and record original musical compositions. I am also a published author, with works featured in horror anthologies published by Simon & Schuster, and many other platforms. I've also narrated audiobooks on YouTube since 2013, and have since amassed over 400 narrations in my library with over 366,000 subscribers. My current discography of original music includes over 100 songs, and my Spotify profile has amassed over 237,000 monthly listeners.

I have been composing music under the artist name "Madame Macabre" for over a decade now! I have produced multiple viral tracks such as “Welcome to Freddy’s”, and “Painted Smile” with 16 and 13 million views respectively. I have collaborated with many other artists including Mr. Creepypasta, Creep-P, Corpse Husband, and Myuu. I am skilled in multiple genres and compose both instrumental tracks as well as fully produced vocals. 

My signature sound is described as “horror-pop” and my core themes are, as one may have surmised; the macabre! There is a sort of whimsy to be found in the dark! My goal is to make hauntingly beautiful pieces that are both enticing and unnerving. That being said, I am also more than capable of creating pieces of all vibes as needed. Some of my favorites outside of the traditional macabre are lullabies, carnival music, and looping video game tracks!
